The Supreme Court has Trump’s Back

It is a powerful concept — the phrase “they don’t get it.”

It’s a relentless effort. Patiently explaining and providing detailed walk-throughs of a concept or idea, done repeatedly, makes no difference.

No matter what you try, they are impervious to understanding or being able to stand in particular shoes.

This is where the Supreme Court is on their Presidential immunity decision.

It’s clear from the Supreme Court’s delay in the decision and then remanding the key part of putting Trump on trial for 1/6 to the lower courts to burn months and months more time — they have literally done everything possible to prevent Trump from being tried before the election. It’s almost unbelievable.

This is not a small point.

Why twist the law and the Constitution and create new precedents out of whole cloth to prevent a trial unless Trump is guilty and will be found guilty?

My gut feeling about the American voting public’s response is straightforward: the Supreme Court’s decision just handed Biden the White House and the Dems the Senate.

And it’s not just this election. There won’t be another Republican President for the next twelve years or until virtually every member of the Court who voted Yes on the immunity decision is gone.

The Supreme Court doesn’t get it, so they will be replaced.
