One Other Reason Speaker Pelosi May Not Open Impeachment Proceedings with a U.S. House Floor Vote

There has been much written about Speaker Pelosi’s tying Republican’s legal hands by not having a vote on the House floor to officially open impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

There may be a simpler reason she is not holding a floor vote: she doesn’t have the votes.

And the way things are going now, by the end of this process, the public will want to impeach Biden, not Trump.
