Biden’s Slow Ebbing Out is the Worst of All Worlds for Center of Dem Party, And Hillary or Michelle Will Not Get into the Race

The long-time Clintonite and used-to-be-pollster for the Clintons, Mark Penn, wrote Sunday that “there is no one so far who has shown they are likely to consolidate a majority of the party, and so the most likely outcome is more debates with fewer candidates but a convention that will be decided by super-delegates and political deals. And the flip side of this weakness is that the likes of Hillary Clinton, Michael Bloomberg, John Kerry and perhaps even Michele Obama have got to be thinking of getting in and trying to transcend the moderate and liberal wings of the party.”

Read: Hillary could get in and could win. Or Michelle could, too.

But it is not a clear cut case of former Vice President Biden, losing, it is just, at this point, he is not winning. And the moderate part of the Democratic party is wringing their hands because they have legitimate concerns Biden cannot close the deal.

And so the inevitable naval gazing by all those who now have buyers-remorse about not running for President bubble up into the press: Will Hillary run? Should Hillary run? Bloomberg might run. Michelle Obama should definitely run!

The next time someone says any of those things to you: just think, they are complete novices and have no idea about the depth and nature of campaigns, especially Presidential campaigns.

None of these people will run. It’s too late for them to get into the race.

Just ask billionaire Styer how’s the whole “getting in late to the primaries in Iowa and New Hampshire move going. He has spent massive amounts on ads in the three states and has, likely on name recognition alone, qualified for the most recent debates, but spent more than $15 million, and did not qualify for the debates prior to the latest one on CNN.

But the speculation helps Biden since the longer he is leading or one of the leaders, the less likely a well-known moderate will get into the race and divide the moderate Dem vote, making a Warren or Sanders far more likely.
