Why there should be no House-Senate Conference, if Health Care Passes the Senate

From The Hill:

“I think we would do almost anything to pass a healthcare bill,” Pelosi told reporters at her weekly news conference. “As soon as we can, we will.”

“But she dismissed reports that the House would skip a conference committee and pass the Senate version of the bill (a process called “ping-pong”) as unlikely. Asked about the chances of that scenario unfolding, she said, “not much.”

“We would like to see a full conference,” she said.

Therefore, there should be no conference, if it gets to that point, which I do not think it will — but just in case, there should be no conference.
