U.S. Supreme Court Can Further Obstruct Trump Going to Trial by Waiting Until After their Term Ends, and even after July 4th, to Release the Immunity Decision

The U.S. Supreme Court can further obstruct Trump from going to trial by waiting until nearly a week after July 4th.

It’s worth noting that the U.S. Supreme Court issued its last decision on July 9th in the 2020 term and on July 6th, 2019. This historical context could shed light on the potential timing of the Supreme Court’s decision on Trump’s immunity and, therefore, any Trump 1/6 trial.

Given the lengths the Supreme Court has gone to protect Trump from being tried for his actions before, during, and after 1/6, I now expect the Supreme Court to issue their immunity decision after July 4th, continuing to act in the most favorable way for Trump.
