The One is AWOL on the Gov’t Shutdown

The Dems had better think twice and three time about the following factoids:

a) they control the White House;

b) they control the Senate;

c) they are going to attempt to blame the Republicans, who control only the House, for shutting down the non-essential parts of government, while the Dem controlled Senate refuse to cut any existing spending this year.

The political leader of the Dems in the Senate is Senator Schumer, who, as Politico put it: “having insisted that a short-term spending bill keep the government funded at not a dime less than the current level. Theirs, too, is an ultimatum: Sign off on the status quo or risk being blamed for a shutdown.”

Did they notice the 87 Republican freshmen who arrived in the U.S. House after the public pinned the Dems ears back, all of whom campaigned on cutting government spending?
