NEWSFLASH: Why Invest in the U.S. with Money printed by the Fed?

Perhaps now the shape of the economic angst is finally coming into focus for the elites: the U.S. is not the destination for foreign investment, and, in fact, is the place to get cheap dollars that are losing value, and then invest them abroad.

Why invest in the U.S. where the government has become highly intrusive, debt-ridden, entitlement challenged and the regulation insane asylum is being staffed by people who hate free enterprise?

Add in the-money-printer and investors are taking their cash and protecting it by buying real property abroad or converting U.S. currency into other currencies that are not losing their value, from Bloomberg:

“I have begun to wonder if the monetary accommodation we have already engineered might even be working in the wrong places,” Richard Fisher, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, said in an Oct. 19 speech

Fisher said “far too many” large corporations told him that “the most effective way to deploy cheap money raised in the current bond markets or in the form of loans from banks, beyond buying in stock or expanding dividends, is to invest it abroad.” He didn’t name the companies.”
