Naiveté about war has reached epic proportions

Putin has tried to assassinate the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy at least five times since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In addition to targeting civilians and civilian buildings like schools, hospitals and reducing various cities to rubble, and forcibly removing 402,000 Ukrainian citizens, Vladimir Putin has also threatened Europe with nuclear weapons.

The naivete of American hand wringing about Biden’s comment that “for God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power,” is head shakingly naive.

Biden said exactly what needed to be said.

The notion that Biden’s comments will provoke Putin or that it will cause him to lose restraint — just exactly what restraint has Putin shown?

Not using weapons of mass destruction?

Does anything Putin has done to date in the Ukraine show restraint?
