CDC Graph: New Covid Variant, BA.2.12.1, makes up about a fifth (19%) of all U.S. Covid-19 cases

The CDC has released its latest percentage of variant infections in the U.S. and BA.2.12.2 makes up 19% of all new U.S. Covid infections, with BA.2 making up 74% of Covid infections — meaning 93% of U.S. Covid infections are of the BA.2 and BA.2.12.1 sub-variant.
